Our Mission -  The mission of this group is to conduct research on hydrometeorological processes and urban climate. Our goals are to advance science, teaching, outreach, and applications while preserving science integrity and serving our state, nation, and the world.

1. Urban hydrometeorological processes and prediction 
2. Atmospheric Rivers and environmental justice in the Southeast
3. Assessment of the August a, Georgia Urban Heat Island and associated hydroclimatological impacts
4. The meteorology and prediction challenges associated with controlled burns 
5. Tropical cyclone precipitation and associated risk communication challenges 
6. The Brown Ocean Effect
