Before coming to the Department of Geography at the University of Georgia, I completed my bachelor's degree in Urban Planning. Although I worked as a professional urban planner, I have a passion for GIS, Remote Sensing, and statistical analysis. I love working with spatial data, which drew me to Geography. I am particularly interested in spatial constraints and social barriers to accessing basic service facilities. I would love to visualize data through mapping and develop tools to make it more applicable and understandable for the community.
