Three undergraduates in the Geography Department's Atmospheric Sciences Program have been awarded the Ernest F. Hollings Undergraduate Scholarship from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

SSRL Satellite Launched

In an historic first for UGA, On October 2, the SPOC Satellite built by students and faculty in the Small Satellite Research Laboratory was launched aboard an Antares rocket headed for the International Space Station.
