He is interested in ethnography and orature, history, landscapes, and social theory. Pablo uses a framework informed by Political Ecology, Political Economy, critical and decolonial scholarship to analyze global phenomena like colonialism, development, governance, environmental change, and human-environment relationships as they unfold in local space and everyday life.
