Kevin is a graduate student with a background in Geographical Information Sciences and experience in wildlife conservation and unmanned aviation. His research interests are in environmental and wildlife conservation, with special focus on African elephants and spotted hyenas.

Since 2022, Kevin has worked with Connected Conservation Trust, a leading Non-Governmental Organization in Zimbabwe as a Geospatial Analyst.

Education:

Kevin graduated with an undergraduate degree in Geographical Information Sciences and Earth Observations from the University of Zimbabwe in 2024. He proceeded to obtain an accredited license in unmanned aerial systems aviation license the same year. Through the Society for Conservation GIS, Kevin has a certificate in GIS accredited by Jupiter GIS and ESRI.

Of note:

Kevin is an experienced wildlife conservation specialist. Since 2022, he has worked in the Kavango-Zambezi Trans-Frontier Conservation area, especially on the Zambezi-Mosi_Oa Tunya Wildlife Conservation Area promoting the conservation of African Elephants (Loxodonta Africana) and developing sustainable solutions for the mitigation and management of human-wildlife conflicts.
