Qian Cao is a Ph.D. student in Geography at the Department of Geography, University of Georgia. Prior to UGA, she spent several years working as an urban planner in Guangdong, China, where she supported Territorial and Spatial Planning, regional planning and research. Stems from her previous research on smart city, behavioral geography, and city network, her recent research interest mainly lies in the intersection of urban geography and Geographical Information Science (GIScience), especially Geospatial Artificial Intelligence (GeoAI).
