Jessica Alcorn is in the process of pursuing a PhD in Integrative Conservation and Geography at The University of Georgia. Her research interests span a variety of energy and climate policy topics, including topics such as the effectiveness of renewable energy incentives, regulation of shale gas development, and nuclear energy security. Jessica is also interested in urban political geography and the role of communities and governmental institutions in urban sustainability efforts. To date, her work has been presented at a variety of national conferences and appears in peer reviewed journal articles. Prior to her doctoral studies, Jessica earned a MPA in Public Administration and Policy and BAs in both Political Science and International Affairs from The University of Georgia.
